The Deliverer The Deliverer was an extremely dark episode, but I liked it. I'd be lying if I said Caesar was his most photogenic in this episode. The poor guy did not age well. It seems his face just got really dirty as he aged. Of course, we have to realize, being a world conquerer is tough work. And since Xena didn't age at all, those extra years had to go somewhere. But, he is still quite hunky, and as Gabrielle said, "There's something about him..." Notice Gabrielle's expression upon meeting Caesar?
