1998 Production of The Herbal Bed

Karl was in the Maidment Theatre's February/March 1998 production of Peter Whelan's The Herbal Bed. Unfortunately, I'm not positive which theatre company it was with, though I believe it was The Auckland Theatre Company

Based on true events, The Herbal Bed is set in 1613 at Stratford-on-Avon and involves a scandal with Shakespeare's eldest daughter, Susanna. Susanna is accused of having an affair with a married neighbor, Rafe Smith. Even though the accuser recants, Susanna sues for slander.
