Patrick played Doug in the episode, Looking for the Goodbars. In this episode, Dharma and Greg are want to make friends with people with whom they have something common. Just when they're about to give up on ever having an interesting social life, they accidently meet Doug and his wife, who happen to be a perfect match for them. The have a whirlwind friendship full of all kinds of fun and bonding. Unfortunately, Dharma and Greg get jealous when they see them out with another couple, and things end badly.
